Ernest "Ernie" Fortin, II, 38, of Charleston and husband of
Kathleen Davis Fortin, died Saturday, November 9, 2002 at a local hospital.
Mr. Fortin was born Tuesday, May 26, 1964 in Providence, RI. A graduate
of Falmouth High School in Falmouth, MA and Boston College. He was actively
serving in the US Naval Reserve and he also served his country in Desert
Storm. Mr. Fortin was a Group Specialist with New England Financial. Mr.
Fortin is survived by his wife, Kathy, his mother, Elaine Burkly, his
father, Bernard L. Fortin, two daughters; Emily Fortin and Elizabeth Fortin,
a son, Andrew Fortin, all of Charleston; three sisters, Michele Hardy
of New Orleans, LA, Colette Martin of Poughkeepsie, NY and Andree Santini
of Easton, PA. Family and friends may call at the James A. McAlister Funeral
Home, Tuesday morning, November 12, 2002 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Tuesday, November
12, 2002 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be
in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
